One Direction announce 2014 stadium tour


Boy band One Direction have announced they will be doing a stadium tour in 2014, including a night at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London.

Despite being in the middle of their current tour, Harry, Zayn, Niall, Louis and Liam are excited for their biggest shows to date next year.

At a press conference today, Niall explained ‘We’re three years into it, so stepping out to an audience of 65,000 a night is incredible’. Everyone’s favourite Harry Styles added that these stadium dates are going to be a completely different show to the one’s they’re currently putting on.

Selling over 30 million records and topping the charts in countries all across the globe, there is no doubt this will be a highly anticipated tour and tickets are expected to sell out within minutes.

One Direction Announce 2014 Stadium Tour



One Direction fans were eagerly awaiting the #onebigannouncement that was revealed at 7:00 am this morning. One week prior to the announcement, One Direction’s management and publicists created a website called which had a count down until early today.

The announcement was that One Direction will be touring once again in 2014 to promote their album that is set to be released later this year. The tour entitled “Where We Are” will begin in Bogata, Columbia on April 25 2014, which will then continue across Latin America, Ireland and the UK.

Other dates are yet to be announced, but the dates that have been announced so far are as follows:

Latin America

April 25, 2014 – Bogata, Colombia – Estadio El Campin
April 27, 2014 – Lima, Peru – Estadio Nacional
April 29, 2014 – Asuncion, Paraguay – Jockey Club
May 1, 2014 – Santiago, Chile Estadio – Nacional

From the first, it was apparent that the evening was going to echo the Marx brothers.  Perhaps it wouldn’t have if I had made a more auspicious choice of taxi-drivers; one has growing cause to lament the habit some embassies have of passing out taxi permits to their nationals the minute they arrive from the steppes.

My driver was an Afghan, probably one of the few taxi-drivers in Washington who had never heard of the White House.  However, once informed of the seriousness of the occasion–a state dinner for the Prince and Princess of Wales–he raced down Pennsylvania Avenue with a will, exhibiting a good deal of impatience when the mounted police, Princess-watchers, and protestors forced him to slow down.

It looks like Kate Middleton might be too busy to respond to Kim Kardashian’s personal letter about their mutual pregnancies because she is busy getting closer to her husband Prince William. Reports are stating that, after last week’s visit to Scotland together, the royal couple have noticeably been getting closer than they ever have been before. This, of course, is all thanks to the Duke and Duchess’ upcoming first child together, who is due to be delivered sometime in July. Despite her marriage having a steady course of happiness, the 31-year-old Kate has also become a godmother! Well, to a cruise ship, but it is still an exciting role to take on.

Prince Harry Adds Additional Stop During Colorado Visit

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)– Prince Harry will make an additional stop during his visit to Colorado later this month.

The third in line to the British throne added a visit on May 11 to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.

Prince Harry, 28, will also appear at a cycling competition at the Air Force Academy on May 12. That event is open to the public.

Harry, a longtime supporter of charities that rehabilitate war veterans, will attend several events at the 2013 Warrior Games, a competition in which veteran athletes from both Britain and the United States take part.

Harry recently spent 20 weeks in Afghanistan as co-pilot gunner on an Apache attack helicopter.

His May 9-15 visit will also include trips to the East Coast with stops at Arlington National Cemetery, Walter Reed National Medical Center and an exhibition on Capitol Hill about land mine clearance, a…
